Mommy ? It's you, isn't it ???
A few Weeks before Christmas 2000, my then 9-year old daughter Melissa cornered me in the kitchen and boldly accused me of being Santa Claus! :)
Apparently she had been pondering over this for a while...and found the only logical explanation was me being Santa (I already got busted in my position as the tooth fairy). However, she had trouble imagining me being able to afford all those Christmas presents....so there was still doubt:)) Well, I always promised myself not to lie to my children..so I didn't. Besides, how could I let a great opportunity for a "This-is-what-you-save-your-money-for-lesson" slip through my fingers:))
