Returning home from yet another trip and letting the kids
into the house (and alone for about 2 minutes), while lugging suitcases
in from outside, I was scared out of my wits by a deafening BANG. Running
inside and intending to conduct a quick head count.I found my daughter
happy and unharmed, however my then 10-month old stumbling son seemed
to be entangled in my living room curtains. Apparently a "pretty
butterfly" had been happily fluttering around, and my always inventive
son had decided to go after it by means of climbing up the curtains. The
curtains, of course couldn't support my little butterball :) I figure
he'll be either a mountain climber or an interior decorator.
